Foster was arrested and charged with burglarizing the house of Bradley and Endrist Medica of Golden Vale and stealing items valued at EC$5,300; unlawfully and maliciously wounding Bradley Medica by striking him on the head with a gun; and assaulting his wife Endrist, also causing bodily harm.

The incident occurred in October 2012.

Foster appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Rechanne Browne-Matthias, who recused herself and referred the matter to the Serious Offences Court.

Last year, shortly after the incident, Bradley Medica told SEARCHLIGHT that his home was invaded by two masked gunmen. The businessman said that he and his wife were approached by one gunman as he waited for his nephew to close the gate and they were about to enter the house.

He explained that another armed masked man joined him shortly before the three occupants of the house were tied up and the two men ransacked the house.

According to the businessman’s account, he was hit on the side of the head with a gun being carried by one of the robbers.(DD)
