Stolen grindy lands man in jail, four others fined
One man was imprisoned and four others fined on February 21, after they pleaded guilty to stealing one bunch of grindy.{{more}}
A police report states that Nolly Sutherland of Byera, and Elliott Burke, Westwick Williams, Andrew Williams, along with Dwight Browne of Georgetown, pleaded guilty to stealing one bunch of grindy at Ferguson Mountain on February 14, the property of 65-year-old Joel Alvis.
All persons paid a fine of EC$500 forthwith with the exception of Andrew Williams, who was sentenced to six months imprisonment, when they appeared before Magistrate Rickie Burnette.
