Yesterday, at a sitting of the Kingstown Magistrates Court, Marlon Chance, 18, and Rohan Richards, 16, pleaded guilty to the charge.

On January 27, about 6:45 p.m., the complainant, an 18-year-old male, was walking along the Arnos Vale public road when Chance and Richards accosted him.

The duo took away the complainant’s knapsack and removed his phones and other items.

Police investigations led them to the home of Richards, where they found the items.

In a police statement, he admitted to stealing the items.

New magistrate at the court Rechanne Browne-Matthias warned the teenagers that if they do not get themselves in order, they will be facing more serious consequences.

“You all set about to come stress your parents…” she said.

Their bond was set in the sum of $500. (KW)
