P.I. of teen mom accused of murdering one-year-old child continues today
Seven prosecution witnesses have already been called to testify in the case where Mischicha Peters stands accused of murdering her one-year-old son McKealti Peters.{{more}}
The Preliminary Inquiry continues today at the Serious Offences Court.
Peters, 18, a former student of the Girlsâ High School, was charged on August 17, 2012, two days after reports that the child had been smothered with a pillow at Arnos Vale.
Police were summoned to the home of the Peters sometime after 2 p.m., where they met the infantâs aunt holding the lifeless body of the child.
Peters became pregnant in 2011, during her final year at the GHS.
She is not represented by counsel in the matter.
