Spencer appeared in court on Friday and pleaded guilty to entering the country illegally and for falsifying an entry in his passport.

His counsel, Carlos James, told the court that his client pleaded guilty to the charges at the first opportunity and that he did not waste the court’s time.

He also asked that a fine be imposed.

However, Chief Magistrate Sonia Young said she was remanding Spencer, so she could get more information on him from authorities in Antigua.

SEARCHLIGHT understands that Spencer has been in the country since last year.
