Browne-Matthias to be named Senior Magistrate
Rechanne Browne-Matthias has been tipped to take over as Senior Magistrate at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court.{{more}}
Well placed sources told SEARCHLIGHT that Browne-Matthias will replace Donald Browne, who spent his last day on the job on January 16.
Currently, all matters at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court have been adjourned or transferred to the Serious Offences Court.
Browne-Matthias presently serves as the temporary family court president, while president of the Family Court Colleen McDonald is on leave.
Browne-Matthiasâ tenure at the Family Court is scheduled to end in March.
