Man pleads not guilty to drug possession charges

New Montrose labourer, Devon Ashton will re-appear at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court on Tuesday to answer drug possession charges.{{more}}

On September 25, Ashton pleaded not guilty to having 381 grams of cannabis in his possession.

He also pleaded not guilty to, without lawful authority, attempting to introduce 381 grams of cannabis, a prohibited article, into Her Majestyâs Prison on September 24.

The matter was adjourned to the Serious Offences Court for hearing.
