Man charged with murder of his mother

Munroe Duncan of Vermont had his first appearance in court on Friday, August 10.{{more}}

Duncan, 55, was arrested and charged with murdering his mother, Lydia Duncan, an 85-year-old farmer of the same address. The murder occurred at Vermont some time between August 7 and 8.

The man appeared at the Serious Offences Court and was remanded in custody.

The matter is adjourned for hearing on January 7, 2013.(DD)
