Prosecution to make decision on Bajans’ case
Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche is expected to tell the Serious Offences Court on Monday how he will proceed with a case involving four Barbadians charged with drug possession.{{more}}
The men will know whether they would be tried summarily or are indictable for being in possession of 1,706 pounds of cannabis.
Joel Erad Payne, 50; Shawn Boucher, 36; Ryan Corbin, 35; and Devon Hurdle, 38, appeared in court on Monday for a third time for a further update on the case.
Law enforcement agents nabbed the men on July 13, at Fancy Point.
Reports say a vessel, âRolling Deeperâ, was intercepted in a joint operation between the local and Barbadian coastguards.
