Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche told SEARCHLIGHT that the prosecution could not make out a prima facie case against both men, so the matter was withdrawn against them at the Preliminary Inquiry.
However, Jamal Layne of Edinboro was not so lucky. He was jointly charged with both men, but the case against him will continue.
Layne is charged with the murder of Rasco âRenâ Isaacs of Chateaubelair, on October 3, 2011. Isaacs, 18, died from a single gunshot wound to his head on October 3, while sitting in the doorway of a house.
So far, 10 witnesses have been called by the prosecution, with another four expected today.
The matter is also expected to conclude today.(KW)
