Third suspect charged with robbery of two French Naval officers
A third suspect has been charged in relation to the robbery of two officers from the French Navy on April 21.{{more}}
Uroy Robinson, a resident of Evesham is now jointly charged with 19-year-old Rose Place resident Shanel Jack and Kingstown resident, Kevin Butler.
All three were granted bail in the sum of $6,000 after appearing at the Serious Offences Court.
They are alleged to have robbed Marius Frantz, 23, corporal of the French Navy and Zougagh Moman, Chief Corporal.
The men were relieved of money, two cellular phones, military cards, a gold bracelet, a wallet, a silver chain and a gold bracelet.
Reports are that at around 3:30 am on April 21, the men left Shark Bar and were walking in the Rose Place area when four men are alleged to have accosted them and snatched their belongings.
They were also beaten during the incident.
The matter was adjourned to October 8 for hearing.
