The men appeared before Senior Magistrate Donald Browne at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court on Monday, April 23.
Butler pleaded guilty to the charge, while Lewis maintained his innocence.
The items stolen included: a pair of jeans, car decks, phones, stereos, watches, and other things amounting to $10,855.
In objection to the men being granted bail, prosecutor Glenford Gregg informed the court that additional items were still being recovered by the police.
He also said it is believed that the uniform of a security officer from a local security firm was used in the commission of the crime.
The facts in the matter will be heard when the men come back to court in two weeks time.
The offences were committed between April 20 and 21, 2012. (KW)
