Layou resident Donovan John is now out on $5000 bail after pleading not guilty to two counts of deception.{{more}}

The 21-year-old appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, October 11, and was charged with presenting an application form for a St Vincent and the Grenadines passport to the Immigration Department, pretending the form to be his; and one birth certificate in the name of Decko Cordice of Layou. He was also charged with defrauding an officer attached to the Immigration Department, falsely representing himself to be Decko Cordice of Layou, on October 6, 2010.

The matter was adjourned to a later date and will be heard at the Serious Offences Court. (KW)
