Chief Magistrate Sonya Young overruled a no case submission by defence lawyers and found that there was sufficient evidence presented by the prosecution for Alban “Indian” Thomas and his son Percival Thomas to answer to the charge of murder of Edgerton Richards, 42, of Brighton.

On April 19, 2008 at Barrouallie, Richards died from a single gunshot wound to the chest following a dispute with the accused.

Kay Bacchus-Browne represents Percival while Ronald Marks represents Alban. (KW)
