Will Bernard get a chance?
Come Monday, December 3, Bernard Chance will find out if he is to go to jail after pleading guilty to entering the Unity Labour Partyâs headquarters and stealing one case of Heineken Beer valued $112 and two cases of Guinness valued at $120.{{more}}
Reports indicate that the 37-year-old labourer of Murray Village committed the offences at Richmond Hill between 11:20 am on October 19 and 7:20 am on October 21st.
In objecting to bail on Monday at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court, Court Prosecutor Station Sergeant Nigel Butcher said that Chance is a known character who has matters pending. He also advised that Chance is also known to be a person who doesnât show up to court. (SB)
