Philo’s a popular point of sale for Searchlight

On the South Leeward end of mainland St. Vincent, readers can get their Searchlight at the Philo’s Gas Station at Questelles.

A variety business outlet on the Leeward Highway, Philo’s Gas Station is a near must stop. It is still the most organised fuel depot on that part of the road. In addition to fuel supplies, patrons can get requirements for any vehicle.{{more}}

The Philo’s Disco, run by the same establishment is housed in a building near to the fuel station. That venue is also a popular entertainment centre, especially on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Cynthia Phillips is matriarch of the Philo’s enterprise. But her daughter Colleen is the one who oversees the operation.

“I don’t have any complaints,” Cynthia said, about the Searchlight. She outlined that the sales depend on “the edition.” But she confessed that the “Learning Page is an attraction to school children.”

Cynthia and the rest of the Philo’s Gas Station are pleased with the partnership with the Searchlight newspaper and offer congratulations on the achievement.
