Kia Richardson, a student in Rosedale, NY, has been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum. Richardson will join a select group of students in Washington, D.C., April 7-13, 2008, to earn high school credits while studying leadership and exploring some of the United States’ most prominent monuments and institutions.

Richardson was nominated and accepted for the honour, based on outstanding scholastic merit, civil involvement and leadership potential.

Kia is originally from Dauphine in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edwin Richardson and the grand daughter of Mrs. Muriel John of Dauphine.
