Former MP Selmon Walters to be laid to rest Today

Former Minister of Government and Diplomat, Selmon Walters, will be laid to rest
on Saturday, November 1,2025 following a funeral service at the New Life
Ministries church at New Grounds in the South-Central Windward Constituency.
Walters, who served as the Member of Parliament for that constituency, is being
accorded an official funeral.
His body lay in Parliament on Friday, October 31 for viewing from 9:00 a.m. to
noon where former colleague MP’s were among those who paid tribute to his
contribution in various spheres of life.
As a mark of respect, all flags will fly at half-staff on Saturday, October 1, 2025.
Walters whose was Manager of the St Vincent arrowroot Association at the time
of his death, passed away in the USA on October 13, 2025.
