Vincentian living in Canada killed while home for holidays

The 2024 homicide count in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) now stands at 54 following the shooting death of a male in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

The victim has been identified as Glenroy Fraser, a Vincentian who resides in Montreal, Canada.

Fraser’s body was found bound around 2 a.m. on December 28, 2024 in a rental vehicle. The vehicle went over an embankment in Kelbourney. Reports are that Fraser was shot while the body also had signs of being beaten.

The victim, originally from Spring Village in North Leeward, returned to SVG for the holidays.

Police are investigating.
