Gracias Havana … Thank yuh Come-Red!
Bassy - Love Vine

Gracias Havana … Thank yuh Come-Red!

It has been ah long 11 years of waiting for de Modern Medical and Diagnostic Centre (MMDC) to become ah reality, but now de final product is on de table, it is simply revealing’n’ redeeming. This is an extraordinary gift from de Cuban people. It’s ah Gift of hope foh ah better Health Care foh us; and our challenge is to maintain what exists and further enhance dis One-dah-full Facility.

Kidney sufferers in particular, will soon receive Die-I’ll-assist treatment. Dat is like throwing ah Life Jacket to ah man drowning in ah storm. Not Storm as in de Police Officers storm-in de PM’s office.

De Cubans are ah remarkable people. Lie-Za is fascinated wid de Cuban philosophy, Small in size, but big in Stature. “Dey give and give until it hurts”, we on de other hand is ah Lazy/Free (ness) society: “we beg and beg till it never stop hurt!” Lie-Za visited Cuba some time ago to fix her eyes, she still mentally blind. Man she was shocked when she heard what de salary structure was like; de small wages that Professionals, Nurses and Doctors were paid. She gets emotional when she tries to explain de tremendous sacrifice dat de Working People of Cuba would have made, to finance and build dis beautiful Healthy Facility and den hand it to us on ah platter… We will always come up short of words trying to say “Thank you, Havana!”.

Alas! We have arrived wid ah “Top-ah-de-line Medical Centre.” But anything “Top-ah-de-line,” in particular Medical Services all over de world, is expensive business. It’s never Free, somebody has to pay foh it, be it Insurance, Taxes, other Legal sources or whatever. De Nah-shun-all budget is stretched beyond limits and just thinking how we go upkeep our new Medical Facility is giving me ah headache.

Lie-Za like she is now ah Green Party fan wid ah “way-out” I-dare. She calls it her own do-do-darling suggestion. Firstly, she says dat regardless to how de ULP Administration may feel about dis Sale of Passport or Citizenship By Investment program, dey will have to revisit dey position, if we are to maintain projects like de MMDC.

If de Cubans can do it foh us, den we too must help ourselves and do likewise, mek sacrifices. Every man, woman, child, ole and young, tired or re-tired, must contribute towards ah Health Benefit Fund, starting wid ah dollar ah month per citizen. Ah “widow’s mite” dat de NIS will collect, invest and control. Go-venom-mint must not dip dey hands in it.

Secondly, we allowing Far-Rain companies to cream off de Fat of de land. How Columbus was hey 524 years ago, he claimed ownership and rip-off our ancestors foh years. Still not satisfied, Columbus is back to Lime wid ah Flow of gadgets to mek talk, already de cheapest commodity, cheaper.

People paying millions foh de mouth.

Whenever she looks at de published Financial Statements, she reads way profits made by these Far-Rain companies are in de hundreds ah millions ah Euros and US $. And every year our E-com-ah-me is hundreds ah millions in de RED (you-ell-pee). Lie-Za’s recommendation is dat we hire ah Robin Hood Government, not ah Robbing Hood Go-venom-mint, well de less said bout dat, de better.

Ah Robin Hood Government will invite investors to operate here freely, of course dey buying ah Investment Passport. Dey will be allowed above board operations – no more David Ames, “mek dey dollars, pay all dey Dues: “NIS, Wages and PAYE.” And den we will share de profits, half foh dem and we will tek de rest. Ah not passing Goat Mouth pon de MMDC, but if we continue to mek dem Far-Rain Investors get away, dat beautiful Medical Facility, foh want ah money, will deteriorate just like MCGH, God forbid dis to happen!. And wid is gone ah gone again.

One Love
