Taiwan donates motorbikes to RSVGPF Traffic Department

THE ROYAL St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) Traffic Branch now has two new additional motorcycles to patrol the roads of St Vincent and the Grenadines thereby ensuring safety on the public thoroughfares.

On Thursday September 10, 2020, Resident Taiwanese Ambassador, Calvin C.H. Ho handed over the two white Yamaha (900CC) motorcycles to Commissioner of Police Colin John at Police Headquarters. The motorcycles were manufactured in 2020.

This donation dovetails the fleet of motor vehicles which the Republic of China (Taiwan) handed to the RSVGPF on July 16, 2020 during the official visit to SVG by President of Taiwan, Her Excellency, Tsai Ing-wen Present at the handing over ceremony were: Deputy Commissioner of Police, Frankie Joseph, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Richard Browne, Head of the Traffic Branch, Superintendent of Police, Kenneth John, other senior officers and ranks of the RSVGPF.
